Ms. Lilli was first introduced to All-Inclusive Aquatics at Creighton University where she is currently a first-year occupational therapy student. Her love for swimming and passion for inclusive play led her to join the team as an Adaptive Swim Instructor!
Ms. Lilli is originally from Kansas City and grew up swimming competitively. She cares deeply about making sure all kids get the opportunity to have fun at the pool! Ms. Lilli worked as a summer camp counselor for children with intellectual and developmental differences for 2 years where she helped them feel safe while trying new things such as swimming and zip lining.
Ms. Lilli recognizes that swimming requires moving parts both mentally and physically. She has done a wonderful job breaking down swim skills into small steps that are easy to remember, and we’ve seen so much success with her swimmers! Her favorite part of being an Adaptive Swim Instructor is looking at a swimmer as a whole person, with unique interests and needs, not simply a diagnosis!
