Ms. Hope is excited to be a part of the All-Inclusive Aquatics team as an Adaptive Swim Instructor! She has worked with children of all abilities for nearly 10 years and is passionate about creating inclusive, supportive environments where every swimmer can succeed. She currently works for Omaha Public Schools as an Alternate Curriculum Teacher and graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2025 with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. ​

Growing up, Ms. Hope developed a love for the water by spending countless summers swimming, boating, and making memories at the lake with her family. She has always enjoyed being in and around the water and believes swimming is not only an important life skill but also a wonderful way to build confidence, independence, and have fun. ​​

Throughout her career, Ms. Hope has been dedicated to helping children reach their individual goals by meeting them where they are and celebrating every success along the way. Her background in special education has given her experience adapting instruction to each learner’s unique strengths, interests, and needs, and she enjoys bringing that same individualized approach to swim lessons.

Ms. Megan has experience working with kids of all abilities for over 10 years. Her love for inclusion stems from her childhood when she had neighbors with Autism, Down syndrome, and other genetic syndromes. She spent her teenage years working as a Swim Instructor, Alternate Curriculum Paraprofessional, and Direct Support Professional. Ms. Megan now has a 10 year old nephew on the Autism Spectrum that continues to inspire her to advocate for the inclusion of all abilities.

​ In 2022 she graduated as an Occupational Therapist and began her journey as an Aquatic Therapist after having completed research on the benefits of adaptive physical activities. Since graduating, she has become an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, received a Microcredential in Autism through the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy, and completed training to become an Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute Certified individual. Most recently, she has begun training to become DIR/Floortime® Certified.

Ms. Laurel is excited to be part of the All-Inclusive Aquatics team as an Adaptive Swim Instructor! She is currently a senior at Creighton University and is applying to occupational therapy school. As the youngest of four siblings, she has always enjoyed building relationships and supporting others as they learn and grow. Ms. Laurel’s passion for the water began early in life, spending 14 years as a competitive swimmer before becoming a Division I rower at Creighton University. Through both sports, she developed a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and a love for helping others achieve their goals.

Ms. Laurel has four years of experience as a lifeguard and two years of experience teaching swim lessons, where she discovered her passion for helping swimmers build confidence and develop lifelong water safety skills. These experiences, combined with her interest in occupational therapy, have strengthened Ms. Laurel’s commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive environment where every swimmer can succeed.

One of her favorite parts of teaching adaptive swim lessons is celebrating each swimmer’s unique accomplishments and watching their confidence grow with every lesson. Ms. Lilli was first introduced to All-Inclusive Aquatics in the fall of 2025 at Creighton University, where she is currently a second-year occupational therapy student. Her love for swimming and passion for inclusive play led her to join the team as an Adaptive Swim Instructor!

Ms. Lilli is originally from Kansas City and grew up swimming competitively. She cares deeply about making sure all kids get the opportunity to have fun at the pool! Ms. Lilli worked as a summer camp counselor for children with intellectual and developmental differences for 2 years where she helped them feel safe while trying new things such as swimming and zip lining. ​ Ms. Lilli recognizes that swimming requires moving parts both mentally and physically. She has done a wonderful job breaking down swim skills into small steps that are easy to remember, and we’ve seen so much success with her swimmers! Her favorite part of being an Adaptive Swim Instructor is looking at a swimmer as a whole person, with unique interests and needs, not simply a diagnosis!

Ms. Megan is super excited to be on the All-Inclusive Aquatics team! She began her role as an Adaptive Swim Instructor in the fall of 2025 is entering her second year of graduate school for Occupational Therapy at Creighton University and is originally from the Western Suburbs of Chicago. This is where Ms. Megan developed her love and passion for the water,  swimming competitively since she was six years old and continuing while at St. Norbert College. 

She has always been an advocate for inclusion and loves to help others achieve their goals in and out of the pool. She has experience as a swim coach, inclusion companion for district park summer camps, and most recently as a Rehabilitation Technician! Since beginning OT school, Ms. Megan has learned how to asses a swimmer’s abilities, preferences, and interests! She loves to create the just right challenge for swimmers as they work towards their goals and gain confidence in the pool!

Ms. Megan loves to make a positive impact on swimmers’ journeys as she helps them gain confidence in the pool.
