Ms. Megan has experience working with typically developing kids as well as those with intellectual and/or developmental differences for over 10 years. Her love for working with this population comes from her childhood when she had neighbors with Autism, Down syndrome, and genetic orders. She often spent time volunteering in her mom’s classroom as a child and now has a nephew who is on the Autism Spectrum that continues to inspire her to advocate for the inclusion of all abilities. In 2022 she graduated as an Occupational Therapist and began her journey as an Aquatic Therapist after having completed research on the benefits of adaptive physical activities. Most recently, she underwent training to become an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, received a Microcredential in Autism through the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy, and completed training to become an Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute Certified individual.
